Live-Action BLEACH Movie Is Coming Soon Near You

BLEACH was no doubt one of the most popular Japanese manga ever made in recent memory. The anime alone, which began life in 2004, is still going strong for an incredible 16 seasons already.

Now Warner Bros has finally purchased live-action feature rights, in which BLEACH will be adapted by WRATH OF THE TITANS scribe Dan Mazeau. Peter Segal (GET SMART) will produce and possibly directing the movie as well.

BLEACH centers on the adventures of Ichigo, a teenager who can see ghosts. When his family is attacked by a Hollow - a malevolent lose soul - Ichigo has unknowingly absorbs the power to hunt Hollows. He then commits his life to protect the innocent and help tortured souls to find peace.

Here's what Segal has to say about the upcoming project below.

I've always been a huge fan of 'Bleach' and have great respect for its creator Kubo and the truly original and amazing world he has created in this manga.
